Yucatan
"Complete your World Slam of Turkeys!"
100% Success Rate on Ocellated Turkeys!

Ocellated TurkeyOcellated Turkey

Are you a serious trophy hunter looking to complete your North American Turkey Slam? Or are you looking for that uncommon Brocket deer to raise other hunters’ eyebrows? How about the tough little White-lipped Peccary? Want all three even? Then this is the hunt for you!

Ocellated Turkey
In México the only legal way to hunt is in a UMA (Wildlife Management Unit). This outfitter has not just one, but nine UMAs in Campeche on the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula to assure you the best place and the best opportunity to bag your trophy.

The Brocket deer, found only in the western hemisphere, are the New World’s equivalent to Africa’s Duikers and Asia’s Muntjac. Although comprised of seven species, only two are hunted: the Red Brocket (Mazama americana) and the Grey-Brown (or Yucatan Brown) Brocket (Mazama pandora). Highly sought after by International Hunters, the Brocket deer are found intermittantly in southern Mexico, Central America, and South America. The Yucatan Peninsula is one of the few ecosystems where both species are found together.

The Brockets are considered the smallest deer species in the western hemisphere. The Grey-Brown Brocket, slightly larger than the Red Brocket in the Yucatan, weighs approximately 44 pounds with a shoulder height of 24 inches. Typically, the antlers are spikes from 3-7 inches in length.
